Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience. The Hebrew version is the binding one; if the two differ, the Hebrew text prevails. Hebrew version.

This policy explains what personal information we collect on ytg.co.il and as part of our YouTube channel management service, why we need it, who receives it, how long we keep it and what your rights are. It follows the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, including Amendment No. 13, in force since August 2025, and the regulations made under it.

1. Who is responsible for your information

The database owner and the party responsible for how the information is used is Shivuknet – Artur Kalandarov, 67 Zalman Shazar St., Tel Aviv ("we"). For any privacy question or request, contact us:

2. What we collect

2.1 People who leave their details on the site

  • What you enter in the contact form: full name, phone number, email address, the language of your recordings and how many recordings you make a month. If you choose to add them, also a link to your channel or page and a free-text message.
  • Your confirmation that you have read this privacy policy (the form can't be sent without it), whether you ticked the separate box agreeing to receive marketing messages, when you ticked each one, the language you filled in the form in and when you sent it.
  • How you reached the site: if you arrived through an ad or campaign link, it may carry parameters such as utm_source and utm_campaign, which describe the ad, not you. We keep them with your request to learn which advertising works. During your visit they are held in your browser's temporary storage (sessionStorage) and are deleted when you close the tab.
  • The form also has a hidden field that people don't see or fill in. It helps us spot automated spam, and no information about you is collected through it.
  • Technical data: when you send the form, the server uses your IP address to block repeat submissions and spam. It is kept in the server's memory for about 20 seconds only, and is not stored with your details. Like any web server, our hosting provider also processes technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and operations.

2.2 Clients of the service

  • Contact and billing details: name, business name, phone number, email address, and the details needed to issue an invoice and collect payment.
  • The recordings you send us and what is in them: your voice and image and those of anyone appearing with you, and what is said. Sometimes a recording includes things the law defines as information of special sensitivity, such as political opinions, beliefs or health information. We use them only to produce and publish the content you asked for.
  • Access permissions to your accounts: when you connect your YouTube channel and social media profiles, we receive management access through the platform's own authorization mechanism (for example Google OAuth) or through our scheduling tool. We never ask for or store your passwords.
  • Channel and account data: channel details, videos, playlists, thumbnails, and view and performance data, as described in section 5.
  • Your correspondence with us: email and WhatsApp messages, approvals before publishing, change requests and feedback.

3. Why we use it

  • To get back to you and prepare the proposal you asked for.
  • To provide the service: receive your recordings, transcribe and edit them, write titles and descriptions, make thumbnails and Shorts, publish and schedule on YouTube and the social networks you connected, and prepare your reports.
  • To collect payment, issue invoices and meet our legal obligations, for example under tax law.
  • To send you updates and marketing content, only if you gave separate consent for that.
  • To learn which advertising brought your request, and to protect the site and the service against spam and abuse.

We do not sell your information, do not use it for personalised advertising and do not use it for any purpose other than those in this policy.

4. Legal basis, consent and marketing messages

You are under no legal obligation to give us your details; doing so depends entirely on your choice and consent. Without your name, phone number, email address, recording language and number of recordings a month we can't get back to you with a proposal, and without the recordings and account permissions we can't provide the service. The channel link, the free-text message and the marketing-consent box are optional. In the message, please write only what is needed, and leave out sensitive information such as medical details or details that identify other people.

For the form on the site, we use your information on the basis of your consent. Before sending the form you are asked to confirm that you have read this policy and agree to the use of your details under it. The box is not pre-ticked, and the link next to it opens the policy in a new tab, so the details you've already filled in aren't lost. For clients of the service, using the information is also necessary to perform our agreement with you and our legal obligations.

Marketing: we will send you advertising messages by email or WhatsApp only if you ticked the separate consent box in the form, as required by section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982. The box is not pre-ticked, and sending the form without ticking it does not add you to any mailing list. You can withdraw your consent at any time: through the unsubscribe link in a message, by replying "unsubscribe", or by contacting us. Service messages, such as arranging the work, approvals before publishing, reports and invoices, are not advertising, and we send them for as long as you are our client.

5. YouTube API Services

Our service uses Google's YouTube API Services. When you connect your YouTube channel to us, you authorise us to manage it and to read its viewing data, and by doing so you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Information processed by Google is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.

  • What we access: channel details, the list of videos and playlists, titles, descriptions, tags, chapters and thumbnails, and aggregate YouTube Analytics data such as views, watch time and subscribers.
  • Why: to upload videos and Shorts, update their details, organise playlists, prevent duplicate uploads and prepare your reports. Only for these actions, and only on channels you connected.
  • Who we share it with: no one, except the service providers listed in section 6, and only as far as they need it to provide the service. Aggregate data about your channel appears on our site or in our materials only if you agreed to that in advance.
  • Storage and deletion: we keep the data only while the service needs it, and refresh it under Google's rules. If you revoke access or the service ends, we delete the API data we stored within 7 days, except what the law requires us to keep.
  • Revoking access: you can revoke our access to your Google account at any time on the Google account security settings page (in the section for third-party apps with account access). You can also ask us to disconnect.
  • ytg.co.il does not store cookies on your device for the purposes of the YouTube API Services.

6. Who receives your information

A request from the form reaches us in two ways at once: by email, and in our customer relationship management (CRM) records, where we manage our contact with you, for example a reminder to call you back. The business itself runs these records, and only we use them. To run the site and the service we use service providers that process the information on our behalf and only on our instructions:

  • Cloudflare: hosting for the site and the server that receives the form.
  • Resend: an email delivery service that forwards the form details to us.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS): a cloud service that passes requests from the site to our CRM records.
  • Our email provider, and the storage service where our client records are kept.
  • Google: YouTube (YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics), Google Business Profile, Google Drive for the shared folder where recordings are uploaded, and Google Gemini, an AI tool that helps us analyse the recording and suggest titles, descriptions and moments for Shorts.
  • Metricool: the scheduling tool through which we publish and schedule social media posts and collect performance data.
  • The social networks you connected (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google Business Profile): content we publish for you goes to them and appears on your accounts, under each network's terms and privacy policy.
  • Zoom: only if you chose automatic pickup of recordings after Zoom calls.
  • Bookkeeping, invoicing and payment services, and our accountant, as far as needed for billing and legal reporting.

We run the transcription itself on computers under our control. We will not pass your information to anyone else unless the law or an order of a competent authority requires us to.

7. Transfers abroad

Most of the providers above operate outside Israel, so your information may be stored or processed on servers abroad, for example in the United States or the European Union. We transfer information abroad only in line with the Protection of Privacy (Transfer of Data to Databases Abroad) Regulations, 5761-2001, and only to providers that have committed to keep the information safe and protect it to an appropriate standard.

8. Contacting us by phone or WhatsApp

The site has buttons to call us and to message us on WhatsApp. The call button opens the phone app on your device, and if you call, we see your number as with any call. The WhatsApp button opens a chat with us in the WhatsApp app or website, with a ready-made message you can edit or delete before sending. The site does not pass any information about you to WhatsApp, and nothing reaches us until you send the message yourself.

WhatsApp is a third-party service (WhatsApp, part of Meta), and using it is subject to WhatsApp's terms of service and WhatsApp's privacy policy, not only to this policy. When you write to us there, your messages, phone number and profile name are kept by us and by WhatsApp, as with any chat in the app. We use them only to answer you and provide our service, and you can ask us to delete the chat from our devices. Prefer not to use WhatsApp? Call us or email us instead.

9. How long we keep it

  • A request from the form is kept for up to 24 months from the day you sent it and then deleted, unless you became our client.
  • Client details, invoices and payment records are kept for the duration of our engagement, and afterwards for as long as the law requires, for example for accounting and tax.
  • Recordings and the outputs we made (videos, Shorts, images): we keep them for 12 months after the agreement ends, then delete them. Whatever has already been published on your accounts stays there, and we do not delete it.
  • Data received through the YouTube API Services: as described in section 5.
  • The IP address of whoever sent the form is kept in the server's memory for about 20 seconds only.

10. How we protect it

The site and the form run over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to requests, recordings and the permissions to your accounts is limited to us and to the providers that need it to deliver the service, and the accounts where the information is kept are secured. We take reasonable security measures, as required by the Protection of Privacy (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017. No online service is completely immune, and if a security incident occurs we will act as the law requires, including notifying the Privacy Protection Authority and you where the law requires it.

11. Your rights

  • To see the information we hold about you.
  • To ask us to correct information that is wrong, incomplete, unclear or out of date.
  • To ask us to delete your information, where there is no legal duty to keep it.
  • To ask us to stop sending you marketing messages and to remove you from our mailing list, at any time.
  • To revoke the permissions you gave us to your accounts, as described in section 5.

To exercise these rights, contact us by email at support@shivuknet.co.il. We may ask for a few details to confirm the request comes from you. We will reply within 30 days.

If you think your information has not been handled properly, we'd appreciate hearing from you first. In any case, you have the right to file a complaint with Israel's Privacy Protection Authority: Privacy Protection Authority website.

12. Cookies and browser storage

The site uses no analytics or advertising cookies and embeds no third-party tracking tools: there is no Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or social media pixel. Fonts and videos load from our own server. Our hosting provider may use strictly necessary technical cookies only, for security and protection against malicious traffic. If we add other kinds of cookies in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent in advance. Since the site has no non-essential cookies, it has no cookie banner either.

The accessibility menu saves the settings you choose (text size, contrast, stopped animations and so on) in your browser's local storage (localStorage), so they apply on the next page and your next visit. They stay on your device only, are never sent to us and are not used for tracking. You can delete them with "Reset settings" in the menu or by clearing your browsing data. Campaign source parameters are kept in the browser's temporary storage, as described in section 2.1.

13. Children

The service is meant for channel owners and businesses, not for minors. If we learn that a minor has given us their details, we will delete them.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated. If we make a material change to how we use information you have already given us, we will let you know in advance.
